About Us
740 Dental Studio was started by Dr. Amanda Akasheh in March of 2023.
She and her team strive to provide quality care through every step of your journey to your perfect smile. At our dental office, we provide a range of dental services including general, family, and cosmetic dentistry. Additionally, we offer Botox and dermal fillers for both therapeutic and cosmetic treatments.
Meet the Team
Amanda Akasheh
Doctor of Dental Surgery
Dr. Amanda was born and raised in southeast Michigan. She completed a Bachelor of Science at Oakland University. After undergraduate, she taught Anatomy and Physiology at Baker College, before entering dental school. She attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry (UMSOD) and graduated in 2015. Her passion for dentistry and teaching has led Dr. Amanda to become a Clinical Assistant Professor at UMSOD, where she teaches and mentors future dentists.
Always keeping up with the latest in continuing education, Dr. Amanda strives to learn about the newest literature about, and advances in, dentistry. An example of such education is using Botox and dermal fillers for therapeutic and cosmetic purposes. Dr. Amanda was certified through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics and is eager to help a plethora of patients, ranging from those wanting to smooth fine lines and wrinkles, to treating patients who suffer from jaw clenching/grinding or tension headaches. Additionally, she has had training in both digital dentistry and 3D printing and uses some of these techniques at her practice.
In her free time, Dr. Amanda enjoys spending time with friends and family and being outdoors. She enjoys baking, and is a certified cake decorator!
Dr. Amanda is affiliated with the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Washtenaw Dental Society, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Deena
Dental Hygienist
Deena graduated from the University of Michigan in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She has been practicing in this same office for 20+ years. She loves to get to know her patients, educate them on oral health, and also make them feel like part of our dental family. Outside of work, Deena enjoys spending time with her husband, Mike, and two daughters, Emily and Payton. They keep busy with their girls’ sports activities and love to spend time at Burt Lake in the summer. Bella, their Australian Cattle Dog, joined their family in 2020 and has been a wonderful addition.
Autumn
Dental Assistant
Autumn and Dr. Amanda have been working together since 2020. Autumn is currently attending Michigan State University for her undergraduate degree and hopes to eventually attend dental school at the University of Michigan. In her free time, Autumn enjoys hanging out with her friends and family and traveling.
Kamryn
Administrator
Kamryn attended Monroe Community College and completed her Sterile Processing Technician Certification in 2021. She is currently enrolled at Washtenaw Community College and plans to attend a radiography program in the near future. When Kamryn has free time she enjoys traveling, spending time with her friends, and shopping.
Odia
Administrator
Odia graduated with a Bachelor of Science and is pursuing a Master’s in Healthcare Administration. She hopes to one day manage a practice. In her free time, Odia enjoys spending time with friends and family.
